Last summer, Igor was diagnosed with a rare blood cancer called Multiple Myeloma. The diagnosis left our family in shock, but we held onto hope as his doctors assured us that his young age gave him a promising prognosis. Igor underwent regular chemotherapy, and even went on a hunting trip just a few weeks ago, determined to live his life as fully as possible. However, he began deteriorating quickly a couple weeks ago after being admitted to the hospital, where he remained for the rest of his time. By that time, the cancer had found its way to his spine and which lead to his rapid decline and ultimate passing on the evening of November 13th. Our family is heartbroken but his strength was inspiring right up until his final moments.
We will forever remember Igor as a resilient, adventurous, and enthusiastic man who pursued his dreams without hesitation. He loved paragliding, hunting, fishing, hiking, tennis, and skiing—he spent nearly every weekend in nature, fully embracing life. During this difficult time, we would be deeply grateful for any support, helping us cover his after-life expenses and supporting our family as we honour his memory and celebrate the beautiful life he lived.
