Igulu Foundation, Uganda

Igulu Foundation is a Non-Government organisation located in Jinja Uganda in Bujagali village along the banks of the river Nile. Focus on helping orphans, disabled people, and single mothers as well as hosting volunteers from all over the world.

The IGULU foundation founder discovered that the need to support such local people in rural areas is very high.At IGULU foundation, we believe that there are people out there who are ready and willing to help but they don’t know how to, because they lack connection to the local people who are in need of such help. This is due to absence of genuine charity-based organization and other factors. In this scenario, IGULU foundation comes in to bridge those people with a helping and giving heart to those who are in need of help.

Igulu foundation is a small charity and thus rely on the kind heart of others to donate any small amount. Igulu foundations major program is to care for orphans and vulnerable kids. They host 15 kids at the foundation ranging from one year to 15 years. They provide them with all human basic needs and they are dedicated to being the fathers, the mothers as well the caretakers of the kids who lost and were denied a chance of being shown parental love due to the loss of their parents due to HIV, poverty, and family neglect.

IGULU FOUNDATION can't complete their mission alone without your support and cooperation. They depend 95% on donations and volunteer support to meet their daily basic requirements such as

1. Food to feed the kid

2. Rent to secure the house where they are using

3. Medical care to keep their kids healthy

4. School fees to make all their kid's access education for their bright future.

5. Clothing for the kids

6. Scholastic materials such as books, pens, pencils, sets, and many more

7. Water and electric bills

8. Sleeping material (beds, mattresses, bedsheets and blankets) to ensure that the kids can have a better rest.

The target is that they can buy a own land to establish their orphanage to see that they can accommodate a bigger number of orphans and street kids. But also a community learning center to ensure that many kids in the community can access quality and free education.

Orphans need a home, care and security. The Igulu Foundation gives orphans a loving home.
