An Update From Ikaika & Family❤️‍

So far Melisa and myself are so grateful to all the donations that have been coming in! We can’t thank everyone enough. We would like to let everyone know that we are staying with friends and have been getting a lot of support from the people on Maui with food and clothes. I have been still going to work and also trying to find homes for many people that are still looking for shelter. We are all in this together and Melisa and I just want to thank everyone and let everyone know that we are hanging in there. Mahalo 

On August 8th Lahaina, Maui was ravaged by fires that caused substantial damage to the area. With little more than their pets and the clothes on their backs Ikaika, Melisa and Mila were forced to evacuate their home. Unfortunately their house would be consumed by the fire. For those that know my sister and brother in law, the kindness, generosity and love they have for their families and friends and the island of Maui is a huge part of who they are. Ikaika is a Maui Fire Fighter who is currently on the front lines fighting the same fires that ravaged his home. The costs of just daily living essentials, food, clothing, hygiene, and lodging will be unimaginable, but we are hoping to soften the blow. Anything can help.
