Memorial
This page is to raise funds for a memorial monument for Ike the Crossroads Dog. The monument will be placed Ike’s yard near his sign so as not to intrude on MODot boundaries.

Information
Please be on the lookout for a mint green Tacoma truck that purposefully swerved and hit Ike the afternoon of Monday 11/15.

In Memory of Ike
We’ll never forget you Ike. We know you’re in a beautiful place in heaven but we will all miss you so, so much. You were a bright spot in all our days, brought us together and uplifted us during hard times. Your presence was always a welcome surprise. There are no words good enough. We pray for comfort for your family and all who mourn your passing. Till we meet again. You are a good dog, always.

Ike had many nicknames and many stories have been told about him. When his fan page began in March 2021 members learned his nicknames included Junction Dog, 3-way, 4-way, Ghost Dog, Our Dog, The Sheriff, The Mayor of Ironton, The Ironton Welcoming Committee and more. He may have had a home, but he felt like everyone's dog for he made his way into the hearts of all who pass through the crossroads of 21/NN near Ironton, MO. He was widely loved and could be seen regularly, though there was no guarantee exactly when which made sightings even more special. Many stories have been shared about Ike. He was known for moving out of the road for funeral processions, or howling when an ambulance would drive through.
