THE FIRST SOCIAL NETWORK FOR PETS

Do you want to make a difference? Do you see poor abandoned animals and think – that is horrible but what can I do?  Now you can do something.  Participate in the creation of a safety net for these poor creatures falling through the cracks of society by reinforcing our world. We are creating communities of people who care; connecting those people and making a difference in the lives of these animals and for the world they and we live in.

WHO WE ARE

Petsharing is a Non-Profit organization that, since 2012, is dedicated to combating abandonment of domestic animals and supporting the realities that provide assistance to animals in need.  We sustain the resources to allow our furry friends to live in dignity and connect the people with the desire to:
- Take in abandoned animals or animals in difficulty;
- Offer support to orphaned puppies and those in danger;
- Educate best practices for animal care and reinforce positive animal treatment;
- Create an online community dedicated to animal lovers.
- Supports a Sharing Economy mentality, an important idea for the future of all species;

PetSharing, the first community of true lovers of animals and nature, was born in Florence thanks to a group of volunteers, Jennifer, Virginia and Francesca banned together in friendship and their passion for animals. Today, the goal of the Association is to integrate new channels offering the community an easy platform to grow and flourish in order to continue the proliferation of a culture based on respect for animals.

THE PROJECT

In Italy alone, more than 350,000 animals are abandoned every year.
Our project involves the re-creation of a PetSharing platform, that is easy to use and facilitates the interaction both virtually and in person of a community committed to banning together with common goals, representing a natural solution to abandonment. This portal is an easy entry to a Sharing Economy mentality, an important idea for the world that offers benefits for the future of our children and grandchildren.

PetSharing connects those who are looking for temporary hospitality for their pet and those who are willing to host one. This way, all animals have a safe place to stay when their owners can't take them with them. They say it takes a village – let’s work together to raise awareness.

This fundraiser is aimed at developing the digital platform that will host our community of animal lovers and allow them to easily access our social network dedicated to animals. Some of the benefits for registered members of the community, accessible through the platform, are:
- Animal care services between community members;
- Meetings between community members with their pets;
- Social networking and awareness events against abandonment;
- Targeted awareness campaigns (avoiding New Year's Eve fireworks, facilitation of the search for lost pets through chip technology);
- Access to discounts at participating stores, e-commerce shops and veterinary clinics.

REWARDS

In order to thank donors who participate in the expansion of our pet loving community, we have provided symbolic "rewards" for our supporters inviting them to also be active in our community.
1. Donors who contribute from 10 to 50 € to the cause will receive a personalized thank you email and a voucher that will entitle them to a VIP gadget at the first PetSharing in-person event.
2. Donors who contribute from 50 to 100 € will be entitled to a free membership valid for one year as well as a voucher that will entitle them to a VIP gadget at the first PetSharing in-person event.
3. Donors who contribute from 100 to 150 € will receive a voucher that will give them professional service discounts at authorized veterinarians for their pet as well as a voucher that will entitle them to a VIP gadget at the first PetSharing in-person event.
4. Donors who contribute from 150 to 200 € will be entitled to a free PetSharing membership valid for two years as well as a voucher that will entitle them to a VIP gadget at the first PetSharing in-person event.

The amount for the realization of the project is important and, as a Non-Profit entity, we cannot face all the expenses related to the realization and launch of the platform alone. Vuoi fare la differenza?  Vedi dei poveri animali abbandonati e pensi - è orribile, ma cosa posso fare?  Ora puoi fare qualcosa.  Partecipa alla creazione di una rete di sicurezza per queste povere creature che cadono tra le crepe della società sostenendo il nostro progetto. Stiamo creando una comunità di persone che condividono una grande passione per gli animali; connettendo queste persone tra loro e facendo la differenza nella vita di questi animali e per il mondo in cui viviamo.

CHI SIAMO

Petsharing, Associazione No-Profit che, dal 2012, si dedica a contrastare il fenomeno dell’abbandono e ad affiancare le realtà che prestano assistenza agli animali in difficoltà, nasce dall’esigenza di aiutare i nostri amici pelosi a vivere dignitosamente e dalla volontà di:
-       Promuovere la buona educazione nei confronti degli animali;
-       Dare accoglienza ad animali abbandonati o in difficoltà;
-       Offrire supporto ai cuccioli orfani ed a quelli in pericolo;
-       Creare una community online dedicata agli amanti degli animali;
-       Sostiene una mentalità di Sharing Economy, una idea importante per il futuro dei nostri figli e nipoti;

PetSharing, la prima community di veri amanti degli animali e della natura, nasce a Firenze grazie ad un gruppo di volontari amici, Jennifer, Virginia e Francesca ed alla loro passione per gli animali. Oggi, l’obiettivo dell’Associazione è quello di integrare nuovi canali per continuare a diffondere la cultura del rispetto per gli animali.

IL PROGETTO

Solamente in Italia, vengono abbandonati ogni anno oltre 350 mila animali.
Il nostro progetto prevede la creazione di una piattaforma di PetSharing, interamente dedicata a loro che, grazie all’impegno ed alla dedizione della nostra community, rappresenta una soluzione naturale all’abbandono. Questo portale è alla base di una mentalità di Sharing Economy, una idea importante per il nostro mondo che offre vantaggi per il futuro dei nostri figli e nipoti.

PetSharing mette in contatto chi è in cerca di ospitalità temporanea per il proprio animale domestico e chi è desideroso di ospitarne uno. In questo modo, tutti gli animali hanno un posto sicuro dove stare quando i loro padroni non possono portarli con sé. 

Questa raccolta fondi è finalizzata allo sviluppo della piattaforma digitale che ospiterà la nostra community di amanti degli animali e permetterà loro di accedere al nostro social network dedicato agli animali. Alcuni dei vantaggi per i membri iscritti alla community, accessibili tramite la piattaforma, sono:
-       Servizi di custodia animali tra membri della community;
-       Incontri tra membri della community con i propri pets;
-       Networking sociale ed eventi di sensibilizzazione contro l’abbandono;
-       Campagne mirate di sensibilizzazione (evitare i botti di capodanno, agevolare la ricerca degli animali domestici tramite chip);
-       Accesso a sconti presso negozi, e-commerce e cliniche veterinarie convenzionate. 

I PREMI PER I DONATORI

Al fine di ampliare la nostra community di amanti degli animali, abbiamo previsto delle piccole “rewards” per i nostri sostenitori. Le seguenti ricompense sono previste per i donatori che contribuiranno alla realizzazione del nostro progetto:

1. I donatori che contribuiranno alla raccolta con donazioni dai 10 ai 50€ riceveranno una email di ringraziamento personalizzata e un voucher che darà loro diritto ad un gadget al primo evento PetSharing.
2. I donatori che contribuiranno con donazioni dai 50 ai 100€ avranno diritto a una membership gratuita valida per un anno (oltre al voucher che darà loro diritto ad un gadget PetSharing).
3. I donatori che contribuiranno con donazioni dai 100 ai 150€ riceveranno un voucher che darà loro diritto di accedere a scontistiche presso veterinari convenzionati (oltre al voucher che darà loro diritto ad un gadget PetSharing).
4. I donatori che contribuiranno con donazioni dai 150 ai 200€ avranno diritto a una membership gratuita PetSharing valida per due anni (oltre al voucher che darà loro diritto ad un gadget al primo evento PetSharing).

L’importo per la realizzazione del progetto è importante e, in quanto ente No-Profit, non possiamo affrontare tutte le spese inerenti alla realizzazione ed al lancio della piattaforma da sole. Ogni aiuto può fare la differenza, per questo motivo chiediamo il vostro sostegno per creare un sito facile da usare ed accessibile ad amanti degli animali di tutte le età. Tutti i proventi della campagna saranno investiti per migliorare il futuro dei nostri amici a quattro zampe.
