Ilai Petersen

Ilai Petersen (pronounced Eli) was a very happy and smart kid. He touched so many lives with his smile and kind heart. He loved surfing, swimming, fishing, being outdoors and playing with friends. He was a gentle and loving soul. He loved to cuddle his family and tell them how much he loved them and would always say, “I love you more.” He loved eating sushi and Cholula sauce on pretty much everything. Ilai dreamed to live in Kauai, be a surfer, farmer, blacksmith and millionaire. Ilai loved blue and yellow as they reminded him of his mom’s home country, which was a very important part of his life. His zest for life was unmatched. Losing him has left a deep hole in all of our hearts.

Funds donated will be used for medical expenses and funeral/memorial expenses.
