“Tutto è compiuto. Tutto quello che si poteva fare è stato fatto.”

Con queste parole ieri notte Ilaria ci ha lasciato, circondata dall’affetto di tutti noi. Siamo sicuri che lei avrebbe desiderato che la sua fine potesse essere l’inizio di una speranza per gli altri. In fondo, lei ha sempre vissuto e lavorato per costruire progetti, per donare qualcosa a chi le stava attorno.

E’ per questo che abbiamo deciso di raccogliere fondi a favore dell’Unità di Oncologia Pancreatica dell’Ospedale San Raffaele. Oggi, il contributo di tutti noi, anche il più piccolo, potrebbe illuminare domani la nostra stessa vita e così quella di altre persone.

Vi ringraziamo per l’amore che le avete dato in questa vita, anche a nome di Ilaria: figlia, compagna, amica e collega.

Possa il suo ricordo essere di ispirazione per noi tutti.

Last night, with these words, Ilaria passed away, surrounded by our deepest love. We know that she wanted to make her death more meaningful for other people, and for this reason we are collecting funds for the Oncology research team of the Milano San Raffaele Hospital, where Ilaria has been treated in the last two tough years.

Today, with this small contribution, we can help others, and ourselves, to have a better and longer life. We want to thank you for the love you showed her in this life, also on behalf of Ilaria: daughter, wife, friend and colleague.

May her memory be of inspiration for all of us.
