Arvada Secret Ballot Lawsuit

In January of 2014 the City of Arvada appointed a councilmember by using secret ballots.   A lawsuit challenged that appointment for violating the Colorado Open Meetings Act.  A judge ruled that the plaintiff lacked standing.  That decision was appealed.   Money is needed to fight this injustice in what even the judge viewed as a likely violation of the Colorado Open Meetings Act.
