iLLmazing representing Team USA at HHi Worlds!

Proudly representing not only the Coachella Valley, but soon The United States, iLLmazing Dance Fam is a Hip Hop competition dance crew located in Palm Desert, CA. Under the direction of Carlos Curley, iLLmazing Dance Family is a combination of both a youth team iLLusionists and adult team Animazing. Our team trains and travels to compete primarily outside of the Coachella Valley to competitions such as Prelude Dance Competition, Maxt Out, Onyx Norcal, Socal and Norcal Collaboration, and many more. We are honored to announce that our Varisty, JV Megacrew, and Megacrew teams have qualified to compete in the Hip Hop International World Championships in Phoenix, AZ this summer! This is our first time taking the whole family with over 60 members to the world championships and we are beyond excited and grateful for this opportunity.

 Last year in 2022, Animazing had its debut performance at Hip Hop International since the team was founded back in 2012. We ranked Top 5 in the USA and advanced into HHI Worlds where they finished in the Semifinals as Top 20. ILLmazing will travel come July 30th - August 6th to together represent the Coachella Valley and compete for gold, silver and bronze medals against the best of the best Hip-Hop crews located all across the world, traveling in from 50+ countries, while we will proudly represent Team USA.

 However, as you can imagine, the costs of traveling 60+ dancers to the world championships is quite expensive. We are all putting our minds together to support one another in raising funds to help cover the costs of registration + entry fees, costumes, and hotel fees. We are reaching out to our community for support in making this dream a reality.

 Dance is our passion and to us, a second home. We continue to dedicate countless hours to perfecting our craft and fulfilling our dreams, as we have competed in numerous competitions and we have always strived to represent our valley with pride and excellence. This opportunity to compete on the world stage is a dream come true for us and we are determined to make the most of it. Our team is made up of individuals from different backgrounds, cultures, and experiences, but we all come together in sharing a special love for dance.
