I'm Candace R. Owens, founder and CEO of Poetry Pioneer LLC, based in Kentucky, USA. As a published poet and devoted mother, poetry has been my lifelong escape—a way to process life’s joys and challenges. From my earliest years, writing became my voice, guiding me through both triumphs and trials.

I am thrilled to share that my debut book, The New World Light – Poetic Affirmations to Create Heaven on Earth, has been honored with the 2024 International Impact Book Award for Poetry. This recognition underscores the transformative power of poetry to inspire and uplift readers worldwide. The award ceremony is scheduled for February 2025 in Arizona, marking a significant milestone in my journey.

In partnership with Bruce Wilson, Executive Director of Arts So Wonderful, we are dedicated to spreading hope and kindness through creative endeavors. Together, we host an international poetry podcast and cable show, connecting with poets and audiences across the globe. Our collaboration aims to bring heaven to earth through the arts, fostering a community rooted in awareness, authenticity, and unwavering hope.

To further this mission, I am seeking to raise $10,000 to cover the following expenses:

$2,000: Travel expenses for the Arizona award ceremony and a cultural exchange trip to India.
$2,000: Materials for workshops and events, including poetry handouts, journals, and creative supplies.
$1,000: Registration fees for the International Impact Award ceremony.
$3,000: Marketing and outreach efforts to promote the book and our collaborative mission.
$1,500: Accommodation during the tour and cultural exchange.
$500: Contingency for unforeseen costs.
