Illustration & Publishing of Inclusive Children's Book

Donation protected

Only 11% of children's books are written by black authors, and just 3% of them are about neurodiversity. I'm writing a children's book to help change that. I am thrilled to announce that I am working on a new project to advocate for inclusivity and neurodiversity. It's a children's book inspired by my son's story called "Come on, Caleel!" The book is filled with vibrant colors and images and tells an inclusive story of a young boy who faces speech challenges but still wants to play on a sunny day. Embracing Neuro-Diversity, LLC is seeking funding support to complete the illustrations and publish 100 copies of the book, which will be donated to local schools! Those who donate $20 or more will receive a signed hard copy of the book by mail upon publication. We appreciate your support and kindly ask you to share this with others!

The $2000 will cover:
Self-publishing proofreader: $100
Illustrator: $800 and
Self-Publishing Printing: $1100
