Sickle cell anemia is an inherited form of anemia — a condition in which there aren't enough healthy red blood cells to carry adequate oxygen throughout your body. Although she had a condition -- the condition did not define Cyndi. Her condition did not define her position!
Cyndi fulfilled her mandate - when purpose had been fulfilled she was relieved of her assignment. Cyndi beat Sickle Cell for over 32 years! Amazing!
