Hey everyone!
This year I decided I want to do something that I've been wanting to do the past several years: I'm chopping off my hair for cancer research! Back in high school we always participated in St. Baldrick's day and I've always wanted to join and shave my head for the kiddos but I didn't for personal reasons. Since then, I lost my Uncle Tom to Colon cancer and my Nana was diagnosed with breast cancer which she was fortunate enough to beat. So I feel now is as good a time as ever! My plan is to donate whatever I collect from this to the American Cancer society and to the St. Baldrick's Foundation on my birthday, March 5th.
On to my goals! Here's the deal, (I am terrified of being bald so I'm starting small) if this page raises $250 by March 5th I will chop off my hair into a pixie cut, if I can raise $500 by that same date I'll buzz my hair, if I can double my goal and get to $1,000 (that's $500 per charity) I will go COMPLETELY bald, as in no hair left on the top of my head bald. Please give generously, this is all I really want for my 19th birthday.
