I'm going to learn about Mom

I lost my mom a year ago but I always have said I lost her when she started drinking.  I was about ten years old and some where about that time I started living as if the world was on my shoulders, no one would ever be there for me, support me, teach me, push me.  I had disconnected from my family but mostly my mom.  I'm going on this journey to talk to family and friends that knew my mom.  I'm going to talk to my grandfather who left when I was in eighth grade, my dad who gave my mom the best years of her life and the man who killed her.  I want to know everything, I want to know what the last six years of her life were like that I didn't talk to her.  Then I want to write about it.  My goal is to reach $3000 to help me get to know my mom and write her story but also discover who I am because of who she was.  Anything helps and I'll keep each one of you updated as I travel!  Thank you!
