The articles read, a 13 year old killed during shooting in the Shaw neighborhood of DC.

To us Malachi the brother, grandson, the cousin, the nephew, the friend, the CHILD. A life taken away too soon from all those who loved him. While our Melissa, Malachi’s mother, is trying to process the loss of her child we are asking for monetary contributions to go towards any expenses related to the funeral and burial cost.

The monetary goal is $15,000. If you aren’t able to make a monetary donation, we ask that you take an intentional moment of silence and send your love to the brother, sister and mother of Malachi. If you have a child/children of your own, we ask that you hug them tight and let them know how much you love them.

For you, we pray that you never have to experience a loss as indescribable as this one.
