Astăzi, noi, șoferii de camion, cei ce suntem prezenți mereu pe prima bandă, noi ce ne petrecem viața între acele două linii paralele. Restricții pentru toată lumea, carantină, dar noi facem excepție. Nu pentru că viața noastră nu contează, dar au nevoie de noi. Într-un moment în care lumea a luat-o razna, în care populația cumpără în neștire, ei au nevoie de noi. Indiferent de situație, noi suntem acolo. Am înfruntat zăpezi, furtuni, ploi, călduri, examene trecute cu brio, acum urmează altul în care să le arătăm că noi suntem acolo, noi suntem profesioniști.

Dar într-o zi toată nebunia asta se va termina, toate cozile la supermarket vor dispărea și viețile noastre vor reintra la normal. Noi vom povesti printr-o parcare de câte ori ne-au luat temperatura, câte măști am folosit, câte formulare am completat și la câte controale am fost supuși. Într-o zi...

Dar aș vrea să vă amintiți de zilele ăstea. Aș vrea să vă amintiți de noi, șoferii profesioniști. Nu suntem eroi, eroi sunt cei din spitale care luptă câte 15-18h să salveze viețile celor cu nevoi. Noi suntem șoferi profesioniști.

Atunci când sunteți în spatele unui camion, supărați că merge prea încet, aș vrea să vă aduceți aminte de noi și aceste momente. Când vezi un șofer că își întinde rufele în parcare, nu râde, salută-l și adu-ți aminte de toate riscurile la care a fost supus. Când vezi un șofer de camion supărat, nervos printr-o benzinărie, nu-l înjura, spune-i o vorbă bună, chiar și noi avem nevoie de o încurajare câteodată.

În viitor, prezentul va fi doar un trecut urât. Toată această criză va trece, viețile vor reveni la normal, dar până atunci, șoferii de camion sunt prezenți la datorie.

We will talk about the number of times we took our temperature, how many masks we used, how many forms we filled out and how many checks we were subjected to in a parking lot. One day...

But I want you to remember these days. I would like you to remember us professional drivers. We are not heroes, heroes are those in hospitals who fight for 15-18 hours to save the lives of those in need. We are professional drivers.

When you're in the back of a truck, upset that it's going too slow, I want you to remember us and these moments. When you see a driver hanging out his laundry in the parking lot, don't laugh, say hello and remember all the risks he was exposed to. When you see an angry, nervous truck driver through a gas station, don't curse him, say a kind word, even we need a little encouragement sometimes.

In the future, the present will be just an ugly past. This whole crisis will pass, lives will return to normal, but until then, truck drivers are on duty.
