Im Paralyzed And Need An “FES” Bike

         I was Paralyzed 4 years ago  in a car accident. I rolled my truck into the Logan Canyon River in Utah. It’s been hard but I have come a long ways since then! I’ve regained my bowel and bladder control,  and am getting more and more movement and feeling back into my legs!! It’s incredible! 

      I’ve never givin up on my dream of walking again. And the progress I’ve been making has givin me the motivation needed to succeed no matter what the Drs say! They told me I would never regain my bathroom functions, but guess what? I proved them wrong! They said that I would never be able to move my legs again,  but I proved them wrong again! I can spread my legs open while lying in bed.

     If I can secure the funding for “The Myocycle” I truly believe I will walk again.  The Myocycle is an in-home FES “Functional Electrical Stimulation” Bike  that has many benefits for people in wheelchairs. It will help keep my legs from seizing up, it will help with blood flow and inflammation, and best of all it will help build muscle mass back into my legs.
