For my birthday I would like to invite you to help me fund a $3,800 surgery that my cousin Abihail (36) needs to correct his eyesight. Over the last three years he has developed a severe case of Strabismus, a vision disorder in which the eyes do not properly align with each other, when looking at an object. Abihail, his wife, and daughter; have chosen to remain in Venezuela during the tumultuous time the country is experiencing. They have made this choice so that they can serve in a leadership capacity in Next Step, a humanitarian aid based non-profit. His condition is complicating his ability to read and drive, especially his ability to drive at night. Abihail is an outstanding man who is making a significant difference. His work and care is giving people a reason to stay in their home country and make life work in Venezuela. I know that we can come together to give Abihail the funds necessary to cover this surgery. Having this surgery will allow him to continue to make a tangible difference in the lives of so many people. Thank you for your consideration!
The vision of Next Step is to link networks that develop partnerships between generations in the market place in order to develop people's potential making common good values a way of life.
