Help Me Make Aliyah & Volunteer in Israel
Donation protected
Hi! ¡Hola! שלום Shalom and 今日は。
I am Neshama from Sedona, Arizona, and I am making Aliyah to Israel and will be volunteering in Israel starting in early 2024. I’m very excited about making Aliyah and beginning my new wonderful life in Israel. Since the attacks on October 7th, the need for volunteers in Israel continues to grow. I would like to help my people. I have the time, energy, and a heartfelt desire to do so. As a teacher of language and arts, I teach language through art, doing fun things, and expressive art therapy. Besides teaching English, I teach Spanish, Japanese language & culture through the arts, and language awareness. All of this includes making things, being curious, singing, moving our bodies, and having fun with new sounds, words, and meaning. Many of the kibbutzim children that have been displaced with their families need fun activities and teachers, including English teachers.
$ Contributions to my Aliyah and volunteering will help me pay for daily basic food, partially pay for my flight, and other daily expenses, such as public transportation while I volunteer and get settled in Israel.
Please consider donating to my Aliyah and volunteering efforts in Israel. I am so excited to have fun making art with Israelis (and to becoming an Israeli citizen). Right after 9/11, I volunteered in Tucson, teaching bookmaking (handmade Japanese style sewn books) with kids and adults. It was a stress reliever during a tense time.
