REMAKE learning by investing in our outdoor MAKERS  space...

At Willowbrook Elementary, our Imagination Station will be a place where students tackle real world problems, collaborating across communities and cultures, fostering perseverance and discovery, not to mention engaging in authentic learning along the way!

Invest in our DREAM

We envision a combination of fixed and flexible pieces, both mobile and stationary with multiple purposes; like sand and water tables, a sound exploration station, and a design wall.  Raised beds that will allow students to grow vegetables and butterfly gardens could add to an outdoor performance space, creating a place where students can be kids while their learning is self-directed, self-motivated, and open ended.  The Scott Family Amazeum will also be leading professional development workshops to educate our staff about how to integrate maker focused learning principles while aligning with Arkansas State Standards.

We VALUE
We value KIDS and their creativity and natural desire to learn.
We value PLAY where kids find permission to take risks, fail, and try and try again.
We value POSSIBILITIES when we can dream what learning can be...
And we value PARTNERSHIP!  Please seize this opportunity to be a shareholder with us at Willowbrook, today's learners and tomorrow's leaders!

Through the eyes of our children...

Who knew that a piece of paper, water, and foil could impact a nine year old’s life so dramatically?! It was a pretty typical day in fourth grade at Willowbrook Elementary and we were just challenged to create a floatable, flyable plane. This task required innovative thinking, collaboration with my classmates and perseverance! I was propelled to envision beyond the classroom and into an educational oasis. I was encouraged to design, engineer and pilot my very own amphibious plane! Little did I know, this one typical day at Willowbrook Elementary, wasn’t so typical after all for the impact it had on my life was invaluable.
