Imagine a Sane Society: Book project

Help us publish the book “Imagine a Sane Society” by Katarzyna Gajewska – it will be accessible for free
Help us, Katarzyna (author), Cambia Community (test readers), and other co-creators complete this book! You are supporting utopian theory and practice!
If you do not want to read this book yourself, consider the merits of utopia for posterity. Our imagination has been dispossessed. The younger generations may have no other option than seize the crisis as an opportunity to create a new system.
Over seven years ago, Katarzyna embarked on writing “Imagine a Sane Society” despite not receiving any funding.
She saw a gap in understanding the emotional and psychological aspects of discussed alternatives. Eventually, her project turned into a call for creativity and imagination. We need to mobilize outside of the box thinking to replace current dysfunctions with a new system of organizing production. In her book, she conceptualizes what a wellbeing-centered system would look like.
The book advocates for the power of cooperation – different capacities help transcend the limits. While Katarzyna is the only one to blame for the imperfections, this book has had many contributors. It is a collective achievement. The final manuscript will be published in Creative Commons license (CC BY International). It will be accessible online for free. Hopefully, a paper version can also be made as accessible as possible in different countries and affordable in poor countries.
