Help Imelda Beat Aggressive Breast Cancer!!

Donation protected
Hello and thank you for visiting our page. After dealing with rapid weight loss, depression, and an inability to walk from yet another diagnosis, on October 5th, 2022 mom was diagnosed with Stage 2 invasive duct carcinoma. CANCER. The Big C. If you aren’t familiar it’s basically cancerous cells are able to spill out through the milk ducts. But we want to stop all that. My mom Imelda whom most people know as “Tweedy” aka Tweedy Bird is someone you can call for anything and that’s not me talking as her daughter. This is for anyone whether they be stranger, family, foe or friend she’s there, without question. She would give her last to help someone and our hearts are breaking, because she is our glue.

Today, 10/13/2022 we also found out that her cancer is now labeled as Triple Negative Breast Cancer, if unfamiliar this is the most aggressive form of breast cancer and her mass has grown. This is devastating news because it’s only been a short time and this poisonous thing has gotten larger. Tweedy has 5 kids she’s raised on her own. Kenneth; father of 5, Kendal; father of 2, Kendrea, Kendrell; father of 1, and Kendrick the baby boy who’s now grown. She’s had a rough road but still she was always there for anyone who needed her. How she has stayed so strong through a neck injury that could have paralyzed her permanently, raising her 5 kids, helping family, helping friends, working for Walmart over 10 years through the pain and temporary paralysis of her neck injury and still managed to excel at her job, survive abusive relationships, and so much more I can’t even begin to explain. She’s a warrior through and through and I hope she knows how much she’s loved and admired. She is part of the love that makes the world go round.

Before finding out about cancer we were in waiting in fear of, “what if.” Honestly, we did not think it could get any worse. It did. She had two cancerous masses, rapid weight loss, damaged vestibular nerves in her ears affecting ocular function, motion and position, RLS, headaches, insomnia, anxiety and depression. That’s just the beginning.

We have all been on the edge of our seats since. My sister is no longer able to work at least for now and her chemotherapy starts soon. This process will take at the minimum, 6 months of chemotherapy and eventually surgery. We are asking those who can to pray for her, the doctors, and her family. My mom has fought a battle of life her whole life and now it’s time we take care of her. If you can help in anyway please don’t hesitate. We would not ask if there were other options. We are asking. We have applied for disability but that is not nearly enough to cover her expenses.

God sends his strongest soldiers to battle and that is my mom. We want to make sure she can fight this without the worry of hospital bills, a place to stay, bills, or ways to keep her life! We know this is going to be a long road. We are READY! We are our mom’s and our sister’s keeper and her children and grandchildren need her. My grandmother needs her. Her father needs her. Her FAMILY needs her. The WORLD needs her. Please help us if your heart chooses. May God bless you and your families! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
