Immediate Eviction Emergency Response

Hi, my name is Steve Goldstein and I’m writing this to get help for my brother Jack Lokensky. Jack is a consultant in the financial services industry and has been having difficulty finding employment. He last worked in November and has exhausted his savings. Jack has been having a really difficult time after the loss of our dad. This is why I am reaching out to all of you today. I humbly ask for your support in helping my brother get back on his feet. Jack has recently been served eviction papers by his landlord. The phone and internet have also been disconnected as well. He has also lost his job. Presently he has no source of income. I am setting up this GoFund Me in hopes of being able to help pay the arrears and court fees, so he won’t be evicted. He has been tirelessly taking care of our recently deceased father. His efforts over the last several years caring for dad on his downward spiral and maintaining employment hasn’t been easy on Jack. He has applied for public assistance; however, determinations have yet to be made. He is also not yet eligible for state aid. Even if he does receive it, it would be insufficient to make him financially stable. In addition to the rent, his car needs repairs so he can travel to get work. He has become financially destitute due to our father’s illness and his need for support. Friends have supported him with distractions as you may have seen on so social media but that is just a front to keep up his spirits. This does not take care of the bigger picture.. This GoFund Me is being set in hopes of being able to help Jack pay his debts and landlord. So that he won’t be evicted from his apartment. His need is imminent. He also needs to catch up with his bills while he tries to get employment.
