Immigration Case for I601-A

My partner, Guillermo Sanchez, is going through an immigration case to obtain legal residence in the US (he is currently undocumented and ineligible for DACA ). He is in the last steps of the process, which is to file an i-601a application (https://www.uscis.gov/i-601a). This waiver will allow him to go to his interview in Juarez, Mexico to obtain legal residence. The average cost to file this application comes to a total of about $9k, which includes the lawyer’s time, work, and other legal fees.

Guillermo is a hardworking and dedicated individual who cares about giving back to his community. He graduated from UC Irvine in June 2020 with a B.S. in Business Information Management and is currently working as an independent contractor with CodePath, a non-profit which provides college students with no-cost coding courses, mentorship, and career support to prepare them for their careers in tech.

Guillermo is also an active member of his church where he serves as lead guitarist of the worship team. He is always seeking ways to support his friends and family, whether it's through mentorship, tutoring, or just someone to talk to.
