Immigration Visa Fund for my family
Donation protected
Dear All, my name is James and I was born in South Sudan, East Africa and moved to Australia in 2000 as a refugee and settled in the Northside of Brisbane, I became an Australian Citizen on 26th January 2003. In 2016 I moved to Rockhampton to start working with Relationships Australia as a Gambling Counsellor helping the rural and remote communities of Central Queensland e.g.: Rockhampton, Woorabinda and Yeppoon.
I am husband and father of 2 kids a boy, 15 and girl 14 months old. The 15 yo boy was born in 2001 (Brisbane) from my previous marriage, which ended in separation in 2002. I went home got married to my second partner in 2012 and in 2015, God blessed us with our beautiful 14 months old daughter that appeared with us on the above mentioned family photo taken recently when I visited them.
They are currently residing in Nairobi (Kenya) supported financially by me. 90 percent of my salary is needed to supporting their lives away from me. I have just visited them in December 2016 and returned to work on January 2017 after one and half years without seeing my family, because of unemployment for 9 months and having to relocate to Rockhampton for my present position.
The current situation in South Sudan is a worry to me for the security of my family when I am not there. My wife and child are not safe, medical treatments are not adequate as seen by me when I visited recently. News reports recently have noted 3 kidnappings in Nairobi from their family homes due to political unrest in South Sudan. I need to get my family out of this situation.
I am appealing to this forum, GOFUNDME communities worldwide, to raise funds to get my family out of harm’s way and bring them to join me here in Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia.
I need $10,000 for an immigration visa for my wife, Chudier, $3,000 for an immigration visa for my daughter, Nyanok, and $4,000 for medical and travel expenses for them both. That’s $17,000 in total that I need in order to bring my family to come live with me. These figures will increase in July 2017, as the fees for the Visa will increase according to Australian Immigration rates.
Many thanks in advance for your donations to my family.
Yours Faithfully
