We are overjoyed at this once in a lifetime opportunity. As a new gym (only 3 years old), these girls have worked extremely hard, sacrificing time away from friends, and being dedicated to close to 20 hours a week of hardcore Competitive All-Star Cheer training and performing.
The team has been so focused that they committed to placing first in a Las Vegas Competition with the hopes of receiving an invitation to compete at the highest level. This dream was realized a month ago when they not only placed first making them national champions, but the team also received the highest score in their category and won a paid bid to D2 Summit at Disneyworld in Orlando (the all-star cheer finals). Less than 100 teams throughout the country are invited to compete on a paid bid so this is one of the greatest honors that can be achieved. The challenge is that the paid bid only covers the girls' hotel and admission fees for the competition itself. We still need to pay for their travel, our coaches's hotel & travel, new choreography & music, new practice uniforms, and expenses in Orlando.
The team has already been fundraising by wrapping holiday gifts in front of Toys R Us for 30+ hours, ran lemonade stands, held a fitness fundraiser, and more but we still have a long way to go to reach our goal.
Our kids have showed us what their hard work, dedication, and devotion can lead to. Help us get them to Florida, so they can live their dream and show the world what Impact Cheer is capable of.
