Like many local businesses and start-ups, we are doing what we can to stay afloat during the coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak. We are relentlessly working with banks, investors, friends, colleagues, local organizations, and federal entities to devise creative ways to re-open as soon as possible and support our employees during these challenging times.
Earlier this week, the Mayor of Denver mandated that all restaurants and bars close through May 11th (at a minimum). Just recently, we were given the ability to provide to-go and delivery options. We are working out the details operationally as well as working to identify other possible ways to drive revenue while preserving the small emergency fund we do have (in order to eventually re-open).
In the interim, we are struggling to monetarily support our team while still setting the business up for success when we re-open our doors. It’s the nature of a cash business, and that’s where you come in.
We’re asking you, if you have the means, to consider contributing to our business and our employees. Through this GoFundMe Campaign, we’ll raise money to ensure the vitality of our Improper family when times settle. We promise to give 100% of all contributions straight to our staff. They deserve it and need it during these troubling times. Together, we can make an impact.
We are actively working with our business contacts to help find a location organization willing to sponsor us and match a portion of the contributions. It’s our sincerest hope to balance the viability of our business in the current situation, knowing that there are bigger issues out there.
Consider all of the memories, events, causes, and friendships that would not have been possible without Improper City. Think about our employees and how they’re being impacted by something that they have no control over. Your donation does have the power to change lives.
