Improv the World

TrIO has seen the effort to collect reparation funds as an opportunity to extend our services in support of communities most affected by police brutality and the systematic oppression that has been upheld by colonial, imperialist, and white supremacy.
These reparatory funds will be used by TrIO for the execution of programming and performances in marginalized and underserved communities wherever we can reach them.
Our first priority is to make improv more accessible in Black communities, where we've seen a severe lack of representation in Improv.
As we take responsibility for our community we do appreciate you taking responsibility for yours. Immense privilege has been awarded in the wake of egregious disenfranchisement, so we hope that this effort will bring us closer to the one community we strive to be.
