Welcome to Ingatestone & Fryerning Cricket Club’s youth cricket fundraising page!

With the COVID-19 vaccine rollout underway, cases dropping and the country making its way down the road to restrictions being lifted, IFCC and its members are making preparations for the 2021 season.

Our Club, formed in 1858 and at the centre of our village life for more than 160 years, will return to action in April under current Government plans, giving people of all ages the opportunity to get out in the open air and enjoy welcome exercise in the company of family and friends.

Youth cricket has played a huge part in IFCC’s history and will continue to do so in the future.

Organised coaching sessions will again be held all summer long, giving children and parents the welcome chance to socialise in the sunshine.

With the encouragement and development of young cricketers central to our continued success, we at IFCC are always striving for ways to improve our facilities.

Our pavilion has undergone a significant renovation, led by members, during the winter, meaning parents and children will return to a clean and smart building befitting our fantastic villages.

Our generous sponsors have provided IFCC with much-needed funding for our projects, but we want to make our club an even better place to play cricket!

Next, we would like to install a new all-weather wicket on our square, providing youngsters with the opportunity to play cricket, rain or shine!

We are seeking to raise £3,000 in funds for the removal of the old artificial wicket, which has been in place for over 25 years, and the installation of new groundworks and a new playing surface.

Any additional funds raised will be used to purchase a new net, enabling youngsters to practice their batting and bowling skills safely.

IFCC has been at the centre of our community since 1858 and, as normality appears on the horizon, let’s club together to ensure it remains there!
