Help launch QSLI, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving education metrics nationwide and enhancing the quality of student life on a systemic level.
America’s youths are amidst a spiking mental health crisis, and educators, public health experts, policymakers, and private organizations are scrambling to identify some form of solution before it further worsens. Through our research, we aim to achieve representation from a broad range of indicators that measure the quality of the student experience, and to leverage our research to promote meaningful shifts in school design and education policy. We believe that a more integrated measure of school success could substantially impact how schools design their curriculum and how students approach their intellectual experiences.
The future of humanity rests on our ability to successfully educate the next generation on what’s important. In five years, we aim to be in a place where we don’t talk about test scores without also talking about the quality of student life.
This work cannot be done alone. We will work together with governments and institutions to improve the quality of student life on a systemic level. With your help, and the help of other leaders, educators, and students, we can steer education and mental health reform one school at a time.

Your donation of will [first and foremost] help establish QSLI as a 501(c)(3) non-nonprofit. Additional funds will support:
- Expand our team to distribute responsibilities, such as communication, social media management, research and collaboration, and public outreach
- Deliver free resources, tools, and publications that students and schools can access through our website
- Conduct a series of nation-wide research studies toward evaluating the factor structure and construct validity of QSLI
- Advocate for policies and practices that optimize both academic achievement and quality of student life
- Push for evidence-based best practices that increase student wellbeing
- Increase political and public will to expand excellence and equity in education from preschool through college
