Improve young Kenyan lives with food, education

I'm Laurie. I was a missionary/development worker in Kenya for 3 years. I spent two of those years in Kisii where I met some wonderful people including Linet and Mohamed's family. Both families struggle.
Back when I was a missionary/development worker, in 2018, I began a small sponsorship program helping support poor families in Western Kenya. This began when I found that my neighbor children weren't going to school because they didn't have a clean uniform to wear, proper school supplies or were just too hungry to sit in class.
This small program never ceased. I've been sending money every week for food and every term for school fees or other school needs. Through the program I've been assisting 5-8 elementary and high school students. In addition to students, a part-time staff person and I purchase a base level of food for the families to ensure that there is something on the table. The family has improved - better relationships, less turmoil and the comfort and confidence knowing that they can go to school and that they won't be hungry.
At the end of my term in Africa, late 2019, I raised and saved a chunk of my missionary salary to use for the students. I have mostly taken a break from fundraising since then - focusing on rebuilding my American life and continuing the project in silence. But now I need your help.
Help me raise money this summer so that I can continue to help these amazing, sweet, innocent children to have a better future.
