In Beloved Memory of Dario Urbina
It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Dario Urbina. He passed away Monday, July 6, 2020 due to COVID-19 related complications, leaving behind a beautiful family — his children Matthew, Arlene, Melissa, and Kevin, as well as his wife, Griselda. Dario was a devoted father, son, brother, husband, and friend. He was a man of strong faith and served the Lord during his time on Earth.
Those that knew Dario, know he was a passionate, dedicated, and hard working man. After immigrating to Los Angeles from San Juan Atenco, Puebla at the age of 14, he began his family with his loving wife. He started his own gardening business and enjoyed creating projects and expanding his business to ensure his children have access to education and are able to pursue their true passions.
During his free time, he enjoyed spending time with friends and family, traveling to Mexico, volunteering with his church community, and playing/watching basketball. And of course, if you knew him, he was the Lakers’ #1 fan. The Urbina family could often be found spending quality time together at Disneyland. The family will forever cherish those special moments.
We hope you are able to help the family with financial support as they grieve the loss of their beloved father, husband, son and brother. All proceeds will be going directly to support the family during this difficult time to help with funeral costs, daily expenses, his children’s college funds as Arlene is about to begin college, and Matthew’s continued care. We greatly appreciate your support during this difficult time.
Dario is and will always be dearly missed. We love him and hope he rests in peace in God’s grace.
