In celebration of Aidan Hudson
Aidan Hudson tragically passed away in his sleep in the early hours of Sunday morning, 13th June. Aidan was discovered by his parents, Gill and Rich Hudson, on Sunday morning and leaves them devastated, along with his younger sister, Milly. Aidan's passing was unexpected and has come as a total shock to the local community. He was a much loved, son, brother, grandson, and friend to many.
Aidan was always seen around Steventon village with a massive smile on his face. He had just completed a trial for the Steventon children's cricket team and was looking forward to joining them in their training.
He was a great friend to many in the village, having gone to Steventon primary school and then onto St Birinus. He was taken far too soon, with only a couple of weeks away from celebrating his 14th birthday.
The void that Aidan leaves cannot ever be filled, he was a lovely boy with a beaming smile that would light up any room. This is why we are setting up this page so that people can donate and remember Aidan, a boy that was taken much too soon. The funds will be used for some form of remembrance to Aidan in the village, which will be located in a few of his favourite places, and to help support the family during this most horrific time.
More details will be released regarding the funeral on this page, later on. Gill and Rich are touched by the deliveries of food and flowers but are asking if friends would like to contribute to a memorial instead.
Aidan will not be forgotten, his memory will live through those that knew him and were blessed to have him a friend.
