In Fond Memory of Rosendo Varela

Its never easy to lose a loved one, especially a child. The family is overwhelmed as they process the loss of their loved one.

Rosendo Varela was tragically taken from us Tuesday, July 26, 2022. He was loved deeply by his family and friends. Rosendo was a devout Catholic. He was a loving compassionate young man who was consistently there to support his friends and family. He was set to graduate from Lamar University with a degree as a civil engineer in just a few days with a bright future ahead of him. Rosendo’s death has profoundly impacted his family and our entire community.

Many people have reached out wanting to make donations to support Rosendo's family. We are opening this GoFundMe on their behalf and all funds will go directly to the family. Thank you all who have already shown support to his family, they are truly grateful.

Funeral and other related services are yet to be finalized and details will be provided once information is available.
