In Honor of Alanna Juliette Goodson

Alanna Juliette Goodson- beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, friend, community member- was tragically taken from us in a vehicular accident on February 25, 2021.
Throughout her 18 years, she touched the lives of many, inspiring us to spread happiness with her warm smile, her goofy sense of humor and her acceptance of all.
In her 18 years, Alanna was extraordinary. She was a disciplined student- having just graduated high school in 2020 with a 4.0 GPA. She received awards for her writing, had her artwork exhibited in the local library, and played the viola on numerous occasions at the local Arts Center. Most recently, she accomplished one of her life goals of becoming a US Marine just like her uncle, having been recently sworn in. Her ambitions did not end there as she planned on attending University, becoming a veterinarian and eventually accomplishing her major dream of opening and operating her own wolf sanctuary.
Alanna cared deeply about helping others- she volunteered at the community center packaging gifts for children in need during the holidays, prepared meals for the hungry, and spent her summer vacation at a senior center weaving baskets with the elderly.
Alanna was taken from us senselessly and tragically, and our family mourns this great loss. We humbly ask our friends and family to please help us during this most difficult time by donating to this fund to help pay for Alanna's funeral services. Any help is greatly appreciated and will help us honor Alanna one last time.
