Help a Grieving Family In Need

Support the McTear Family
On May 30th , 27 year old track star, Jamarius McTear, tragically lost his young life due to domestic violence. Jamarius was a vibrant, ambitious young man originally from Detroit, Michigan. After graduating from high school, he earned a full ride scholarship to Central Arizona College where he worked on his degree and ran track. A lifelong athlete, Jamarius left CAC and headed back to Michigan to play football, but ultimately returned to AZ, which he considered his home. In recent months, he was
living in Seattle training for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, when he was violently murdered. Jamarius,
who brightened every room with his infectious smile, singing, and dancing leaves behind a broken-hearted family who is trying to make sense of this senseless act of violence. This GOFUNDME has been
created to assist the McTear family with the many expenses they are facing in bringing their son back to Michigan and the immense cost of putting him to rest. We ask you make any donation, large or small, to
give this family the support they need during this tragic and difficult time.
