In honor of Joseph Mahaffy
Tax deductible
Joseph Mahaffy, my dad made everyone's world's a brighter place. But he struggled a lot with a rare neurological disorder known as CIDP or Chronic Demyelinating Polyneuropathy. This disorder only affects 1 or 2 people out of 100,000, and it causes your nerve endings to become inflamed creating a feeling of numbness and sometimes sharp pains. There is no cure, but there are ways to help, however, the methods of treatments are so expensive. Almost once a week (sometimes more) patients need IV Drip treatments that cost more money per bag than you would expect. So our goal is to donate to the charity that helps people who struggle with this disorder to pay for their treatments. If you go on their website (The GBS Foundation) you can read stories and learn more information. But in honor of my dad, I want to raise money and donate in his honor so that we can help pay for someone's treatments. All donations are wonderful, thank you.
