In honor of Kimberly Hall Jourdan
Donation protected
We want to give our Mom the memorial she deserves, to honor her memory, and say our last goodbyes. In lieu of flowers, we’re asking for donations to help cover the cost of the service.
Our beautiful Mother, Kimberly Hall Jourdan, passed away on August 23, 2022 at the young age of 55. She was born on August 7th in Colorado Springs, the daughter of Gail Hardin and Eldon Jourdan.
Kim graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She spent 33 years as a Traveling Nurse which allowed her to explore the country and touch the lives of many. She later continued her education and graduated with a Master’s Degree in Nursing at Walden University in 2021. She was a highly accomplished and respected Critical Care Nurse.
Our Mom was a hippie at heart. She spent her days traveling the world, creating art, fishing, bragging about her children and grandchildren, and chasing her dreams. Her determination was admirable. Her laughter would light up a room. Her charismatic and magnetic spirit will always be remembered by all who knew her.
She is survived by her parents; her three children Nick Rakestraw (36), Jason Rakestraw (34), and Kandace “Krystle” Haines (32); her two grandchildren Bailee Rakestraw (10) and Carson Haines (2); her siblings Mark Jourdan, Leah Kitts, and Alex Nevins; her Grandmothers’ Mamie Jourdan and Ida Sanders.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Joe Hall, and her Grandfather Harland “Hal” Jourdan.
She always has been and always will be loved. Forever and always.
