In Honor of Maricela Portillo Apr 6 1978 - Nov 6 2023

Hello family & friends,

In honor of my mama, Maricela Portillo I will be apart of “Fight For Hope” at Victory Outreach in Chino. I am calling on everyone and anyone who has had a loved one battle Breast Cancer, regardless if they survived or lost the battle.

On October 20th, I will be fighting for hope in honor of my mom & others who know the suffering, pain, & heartbreak one goes through during this tribulation of health.

I am raising funds to fund my mom’s tombstone engraving as her one year death anniversary is coming up, November 6,2023.

In addition, I will be donating any left over money to the Breast Cancer Society as it was one of my mom’s dream when she “beat cancer”. Although she didn’t beat Cancer, I do know she is with our Heavenly Father in Heaven.

This fight for Hope is a very special event for me because I am fighting for my mama. I am fighting for those going through breast cancer. I am fighting for single mothers. I am fighting for sons & daughters who are left to face the world without their mom. I am fighting for my brothers, Saul and Angel. I am fighting for my family who hasn’t been the same since her departure from this Earth. I am fighting for those who got knocked down but got back up.

Pslam 34:18 “The Lord is close to the broken hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit”

Hola familia y amigos,

En honor a mi mamá, Maricela Portillo, seré parte de “Lucha por la Esperanza” en Victory Outreach en Chino. Hago un llamado a todos aquellos que han tenido un ser querido que ha luchado contra el cáncer de mama, ya sea que haya sobrevivido o perdido la batalla.

El 20 de octubre, estaré luchando por la esperanza en honor a mi mamá y por otros que conocen el sufrimiento, dolor y desamor que uno atraviesa durante esta tribulación de salud.

Estoy recaudando fondos para financiar el grabado de la lápida de mi mamá, ya que su primer aniversario de fallecimiento se acerca, el 6 de noviembre de 2023.

Además, donaré cualquier dinero sobrante a la Sociedad contra el Cáncer de Mama, ya que era uno de los sueños de mi mamá cuando “venció el cáncer”. Aunque no lo venció, sé que ahora está con nuestro Padre Celestial en el cielo.

Esta lucha por la esperanza es un evento muy especial para mí porque estoy luchando por mi mamá. Estoy luchando por aquellos que están pasando por el cáncer de mama. Estoy luchando por las madres solteras. Estoy luchando por los hijos e hijas que se quedan a enfrentar el mundo sin su madre. Estoy luchando por mis hermanos, Saul y Ángel. Estoy luchando por mi familia que no ha sido la misma desde su partida de esta Tierra. Estoy luchando por aquellos que fueron derribados pero se levantaron de nuevo.

Salmo 34:18 “El Señor está cerca de los quebrantados de corazón y salva a los de espíritu abatido”.
