In 1982 , Grandma Marta was diagnosed with complete Renal Failure and began her journey with dialysis. In March of 1983 she received her first kidney transplant which lasted a year and an half. In December of 1992 she received her second kidney transplant which lasted a week. In 2001 she received her third and final transplant from her brother in law which lasted a month. After years of serveral medical issues and continued years of dialysis the doctors and her body could do no more and on December 31 , 2017 at approximately 8:15 am she took her last breath .
