In Honor of My Loving Father: Angel Batista

I need help to raise money for my father who's recently passed away. His name was Angel and he was a kind and loving person who cared a lot about those around him, both human and animal. Angel had a big heart, he took in stray cats off the street and gave them a home, he cared for them often more than he cared for himself. My father also loved video games and watching twitch streams, he was a big fan of Star Trek, Orville and Stargate. He used to play games like Path of Exile, Street Fighter, Killer instinct and he wanted to play lethal company, but I don't think he ever got to. His favorite game though by far is Team Fortress 2, he played it an absurd amount (15,618 hours) and was really good at rocket jumping. His favorite class was the Demoman, but I know he also liked the Engineer which is my favorite class.

One of the things I really liked that he did was waste scammers' time, he used to call them and pretend he was a potential victim, but then mess with them by saying weird stuff or stalling them. Kitboga was someone that he'd often enjoy watching, and inspired him to do stuff like that. I think in his eyes it's a way to have fun, while also hopefully saving someone else's money from being stolen.

I love him very much and want him to rest properly with my grandmother who's also passed away two years ago. I'm making this GoFundMe to be able to do that, I'm a low income New Yorker who's struggling to get this done as I've only found out he died 2 weeks ago. The state hadn't contacted me and he has no family that really talks to him except me and my mother. Because of that we've been in a rush since the Medical Examiners office has held onto the body for a while now, and it's difficult because we have no money. Any help is appreciated and would go to his funeral, death certificate and travel costs to make that happen.

Please spend time with your loved ones, and check up on them every day. We wouldn't have known he had died if we hadn't went there ourselves to check up on him. Someone you love or care about may die without you ever having known, so please, check up on your friends and family, and let them know how much you love and appreciate them.
