In Honor of Ronald Turner

Hello family, friends, and loved ones. My name is Tearrah, the daughter of Ronald Turner, alongside my mother, Tiann, wife of Ronald Turner, my brother Cherard and Darrean, and sister Rashanique.

Ronald was a father, husband, and friend to all. He was a man with great integrity and honor that cannot and will not be forgotten by anyone who has ever had the pleasure to meet and be a part of his life.

With a heavy heart, I have come to say that Ronald Turner has unfortunately passed away on October 13th, 2023, at 4:18 a.m.

Throughout this year, Ronald was suffering from severe lower back pain, and in late March he was then diagnosed with a cancerous tumor on the vertebrae of the spine. His encologist had come to the conclusion that it was Stage 4 non-small-cell lung cancer that matasticized/spread to the spine.

Ronald later underwent intensive spinal surgery in mid-April to try to remove and repair the damage that the cancerous tumor had caused within his spine. A month after surgery, he underwent radiation, chemotherapy, and immunotherapy to try and control the cancerous cells residing within his spine.

After a seemingly normal visit with the oncologist, he was then hospitalized on September 18th, 2023, due to a report showing that he had begun to develop severe inflammation within both lungs. This further led to Ronald being administered supplemental oxygen to maintain a positive oxygen saturation. 

Between September 18th and now, despite all the efforts of my mother and the team of doctors supporting him, his health continued to decline. Which unfortunately later led to his passing.

I am making this GoFundMe on behalf of his death and my family to help find support during these hard times. The donations will go towards support for funeral costs, outstanding medical expenses, and other bills.
