In honor of Scott, on behalf of the McCowan Family

Hello All,

Our dear friend and comrade Scott McCowan passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on January 19. This has caught us all completely by surprise.

He was such a present friend and family man, leaving us while doing what else he loved, working on a show. Anyone who has worked with Scott knows what a selfless, friendly, brother in arms 'dude' he was. Scott was a lighting designer and programming guru for so many. His loss is a huge tragedy for all of us.

In this moment of shock and remembrance, our thoughts have turned to the family. We are setting up this GoFundMe to help his wife and life partner Angie McCowan and their amazing kids transition into life without Scott.

We will never understand the devastation that has hit their family. Not only has Angie lost her soul mate and best friend (they were high school sweethearts), their four children have lost their beloved father.

His priority in life was his family, which was clear whenever speaking to him. He was excited about their recent relocation and the new fixer upper home they had just purchased. Words cannot describe how much he will be missed. Knowing Scott, this would be his first thought in this situation.

During this difficult time we would like to help support Angie, Alex, Wil, Sarrah and Mason to ease their financial burden. With all they are dealing with, any support you can offer, whether it be your thoughts, prayers, or monetarily, no gift is too small.
