In honor of the life of Mary A. Koback

Our beloved friend and teammate passed away on October 26th,
2019. Mary A. Koback touched all whom she encountered her with
her kind heart, her quiet, smiling presence and her love for being
a part of the University of Pittsburgh Women's Water Polo Team.
No doubt that we felt Mary's joy was at its highest when she was
training and playing with the team.

She leaves us saddened for sure, but she also leaves us with
wonderful, positive memories that will stay with us forever. We are
so grateful to have had Mary be a part of our team and a part of our
lives. 

Mary's parents have unselfishly requested that this page be set up to
honor Mary by directing donations in her name to the University of
Pittsburgh Women's Water Polo Team. Donations will be administered
to by Mary's teammates and 100% of the donations will be used to
support the ongoing participation of young, college-aged female water
polo players at the University of Pittsburgh. The team's upcoming
season will be dedicated to Mary and she will be commemorated with a
custom application to our team's competition suits.
