In honor of Wesley Roden
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Family,
Thank you all so very much! I know many of you have been praying for our family and I ask that those prayers continue, now for strength and comfort! ❤
As most of you know, we lost a great man on Sunday, my cousin Wesley Roden. For those of you that knew him, you knew that he was a fighter, and that is just what he did. Wesley fought till the very end but unfortunately, the damage that Covid did to his body was far more than what he or any one of us could handle. He is now dancing around in heaven, I bet, giving God a good laugh and catching up on lost time with our Papa and the many others that have passed before him.
Wesley was truly one of the realist people you will ever have the chance of knowing. He told it like it was, but was kind and gentle as well. He had a grin that would light up a room, and oh how I am going to miss it so much, along with them bright blue eyes. As someone just mentioned to me earlier, "for such a quiet man he had such a big presence", and that he did!!
Wesley is leaving behind on of the most sweetest and most caring ladies I have met, his wife Janiece, and his 14 year old son, Nolan. The hurt I feel is real but uncomparible to the pain that I know Janiece and Nolan are going through.
I have put together this fundraiser, with the permission of Janiece, to help lighten some of the stress and burden of Memorial cost and other financial needs. I hope you can find it in your heart to help out as much as possible. Any amount will help.
If you are uncomfortable with donating to GoFundMe then you can donate directly to Janiece via Venmo.
Thank you all so very much! I know many of you have been praying for our family and I ask that those prayers continue, now for strength and comfort! ❤
