In honour of my Brother-in-Law Kane Morgan

The Scott Family is devastated to announce the passing of our beloved Brother-in-law and Uncle Kane. My sister's husband, and amazing father to my 2 little nephews. Kane was taken from us suddenly on Friday, December 8th in a motor vehicle accident on his way home from work.
He worked at Rust Wine Company, having been involved in the construction of the winery from the ground up. He created one of the most remarkable and hospitable environments in the entire Canadian wine industry, leaving an impressive professional and personal legacy. In 2021, Kane and my sister (Jaki) began the development of their family farm in Summerland, British Columbia. This included the planting of what Kane and Jaki would call Revelation Vineyard, a project which encompassed not only the family’s wine growing efforts, but the organic operation of the farm, largely inspired by Kane’s incredible insight and overall outlook on life. Anyone who had the privilege of knowing him would have experienced his contagious warmth, wit, humour ,integrity, character and his pure dedication to everyone he loved. Immediately after meeting him you would have known that he was not your average man. Kane was truly an exceptional person in every aspect of his life, from his high intellect and way with words, to his true dedication to his family. His incredible commitment to living a full and beautiful life, that touched everyone that knew him, in a deep, warm, comforting and very special way. Kane leaves behind his wife (my sister) Jaki, and their two little boys, Cash and Walker. Please help us to support my sister and her boys to carry on Kane's legacy. He was truly living his dream.
