In loving memory of Osmar Burgos Banegas

Dear friends and family,

My name is Mercy Diaz and I am a family friend of the Burgos Banegas family. It’s with a heavy heart that I have to break the news of Osmar Burgos Banegas passing. He was only 16 years old and was a victim of gun violence. Osmar had a big personality and knew how to make everyone laugh. He was a family-oriented person and would do anything for them. We are all heartbroken by his sudden passing and are having a difficult time processing his death. His mother was a single mom that struggled to raise 5 children. Due to these circumstances, she is unable to afford the funeral cost. Having a beautiful memorial would be a great way to say one last goodbye. We are also asking for you to help his mother during this rough time. Taking time off of work is something that she is unable to do but due to her grief, she cannot go. We ask for your support and hope you can help us in this tough time. Thank you for keeping the memories of Osmar alive. God bless

Mi nombre es Mercy Diaz y soy familia Y amiga de la familia Burgos Banegas. Con gran pesar tengo que dar la noticia del fallecimiento de Osmar Burgos Banegas. Tenía solo 16 años y fue víctima de la violencia armada. Osmar tenía una gran personalidad y sabía cómo hacer reír a todos. Era una persona orientada a la familia y haría cualquier cosa por ellos. Todos estamos desconsolados por su repentino fallecimiento y estamos teniendo dificultades para procesar su muerte. Su madre era una madre soltera que luchó por criar a 5 hijos. Debido a estas circunstancias, ella no puede pagar el costo del funeral. Tener un hermoso memorial sería una excelente manera de decir un último adiós. También le pedimos que ayude a su madre durante este momento difícil. Tomarse un tiempo libre del trabajo es algo que no puede hacer, pero debido a su dolor, no puede ir.
