Hi my name is Marcela I am fundraising money to help my aunt put my cousin Edwin Quinonez to rest. Any help, in any amount will assist us and is very much appreciated . I would like to share a little bit of Edwin’s precious life along with the tragedy that took his life

I met him when he was 5yrs old, he was quiet and shy, but very helpful, honest and always willing to help. His Mom Sandra, raised him and his brothers as a single Mom. Despite few childhood concerns, he always persevered and triumphed over many issues. He was very determined to have his own family, and to love his own wife and children. His Mom shared that he would occasionally ask her how to go about talking to girls in order to get a girlfriend that he loved. He was looking for love. That was his priority at this stage of his life.

He was a superb artist. He loved to draw, and was teaching his niece Scarlett to draw. He was a hard worker, and was so motivated to be independent, and be successful on his own. His family was always available to assist him.

In his desire to find a special love and thrive on his own, he met a female with whom he fell in love and was providing for. One of the last conversations he had with his Mom he had asked his Mom to get her a gift from Victoria Secret for this female. His strong desire was to make her happy. It’s a massive tragedy that it appears this is the person who killed him. He was stabbed violently and died from the injuries, at the young age of 25yrs. The family is awaiting more information from police investigation and autopsy about this murder. His Mom, Step-Dad, brothers, grandmother and extended family are truly saddened by this horrific murder. We see this type of homicide on news almost daily. To be a member and loved one experiencing this loss is so hurtful and causes anger as his life was taken so soon and senselessly. It hurts. His brothers are devastated.

We are fundraising for burial expenses, in order to give him a beautiful funeral and burial that he deserves.
