In Loving Memory of Eric Lindell

Donation protected

Devastated is an understatement. On June 30th, the world lost a hero. For those that know him, you know he was one-of-a-kind. For those that know us, you know he was our idol. Eric Lindell was an incredible father, grandfather, friend, brother, husband, stepfather and step-in dad for friends and family but overall a hardworking, fair, good hearted human. Who did not just do right by his own - but by strangers and those in need. The most common things shared about him are: "He always did the right thing...", "He was an amazing human...", "I have the most respect for him"...

Born and raised in the Bronx to Swedish immigrant parents, he was a ‘Jack of all Trades” and through any twist or turn in the road he gave everything and anything his best. He unfortunately suffered a lot of struggle and loss in his life, however, he never let it stop him from pushing through and turning darkness into light. Although our parents did not “work out” traditionally we were always surrounded by love. When our step mother passed, our mother was there for our dad and when our mother was taken by angels, our father stood by her side.

His legacy will soar on beyond our time. My sister, nieces and I are determined to make him proud in the years to come. We feel so lucky we had our parents although both of their lives were cut short. Last Tuesday, the doctor said our father would be out by the end of the week and that night he suddenly passed.

“The greatest legacy one can pass is not money or material things accumulated in life- but rather a legacy of character & love.”

You had a hard life but always pushed through, and somehow remained selfless, strong, and kind. Thank you for always rising to the occasion and showing us the best example of a good human. Rest sweet Papa & give love to Mom, Grandma & Grandpa, Kathy, Stu, Gary, Raf, & Raffa.

We love you Daddy!

Thank you for taking the time to read our fathers’ story and we are forever grateful for everyone that has reached out in any capacity. It has been overwhelming but to no surprise to see the impact he has left on so many so please feel free to share any stories you have below.

Asking for help was never a go-to in our family, however with the sudden news, we are left in a hard place. Any and all donations will be towards hospital bills and funeral arrangements.
