In Loving Memory of Agueda Sanchez

Dear friends, family, and community,
My name is Naomi Cohen. It is with immeasurable sadness that I share this news on behalf of the Sanchez Reyes family, a beloved family in our community at Sitar Arts Center. On the evening of Friday, August 13th, we learned the devastating news that Agueda Sanchez, one of the most loving, kind, and wise humans to walk this earth, succumbed to COVID-19. She is survived by her husband, James, and her children, Isis and James.
There are no words to describe the depth of this loss. Anyone who ever interacted with Agueda for even a minute felt they were in the presence of an angel.
Please read the following message from her daughter, Isis:
Hi, my name is Isis. I am the 16 year old daughter of Agueda Sanchez, a hard working, loving mom. She loved to meditate, joke around, cook, care for our family, and work. She brought joy wherever she went. On August 13th at 5:19pm, my mom passed away from Covid 19, doctors say it was a blood clot near her chest area. I called 911 but she died on the way to Holy Cross Hospital.
I miss her dearly and would love if you could donate in order to raise money for medical bills, house bills, funeral home etc.. The donation I am asking for is small for what we will need. I’m so young, but am desperate for help.
I apologize if this description is short but I don’t have the words to describe such tragedy. Please if you can, donate. It would mean the world to my dad, my brother and me.

Mi nombre es Naomi Cohen. Es con una tristeza inconmensurable que comparto esta noticia en nombre de la familia Sánchez Reyes, una familia querida en nuestra comunidad de Sitar Arts Center. En la noche del viernes 13 de agosto, aprendimos las noticias horribles que Agueda Sanchez, una de las personas más cariñosas, amables y sabias en el mundo, sucumbió al COVID-19. La sobreviven su esposo, James, y sus hijos, Isis y James.
No hay palabras para describir la profundidad de esta pérdida. Cualquiera persona que haya interactuado con Agueda ni siquiera por un minuto sintió que estaba en la presencia de un ángel.

Hola, mi nombre es Isis. Tengo 16 años y soy la hija de Agueda Sánchez, una madre trabajadora y cariñosa. Le encantaba meditar, bromear, cocinar, cuidar de nuestra familia y trabajar. Ella traía alegría dondequiera que iba. El 13 de agosto a las 5:19 pm, mi mamá falleció de Covid 19, los médicos dicen que fue un coágulo de sangre en el área de su pecho. Llamé al 911 pero ella se murió mientras estuvieron en camino al Hospital Holy Cross.
La extraño mucho y me encantaría que usted pudiera donar para recaudar dinero para facturas médicas, facturas de la casa, funeraria, etc. La donación que les estoy pidiendo es pequeña para lo que necesitaremos. Soy muy joven, pero estoy desesperado por obtener ayuda.
